Thanks for the note Fredric, the cancellation of the Fresno Autorama is a loss to both custom car owners and fans. Blackie has been doing this longer than many of us have been alive, he started the Autorama in 1958, shoehorning 70 cars into the Fresno Armory. He moved the show to the Fresno fairgrounds two years later so he could show more cars. The Autorama always drew thousands of spectators because of Blackies determination to bring the best to his show. About 20,000 car lovers attended the show each year.

Here are a couple of videos of the show and Blackie.
