The Modball Rally is an international road rally which takes place on public roads, with a different route each year. Founded in 2007 it sees an entry of around 100 cars per event which are mostly modified sports cars. However, modified cars do not stop at sports cars and the rally has resulted in entries including fire engines, Ferraris, Limousines and everything else you can imagine. The Rally is not a race nor a rally in the traditional sense such as the WRC; there is no prize for being fastest nor official timekeeping of any sort. Organizers emphasize that it is a road trip adventure with lots of partying and not a race.
The 2016 Modball rally in the US starts in Las Angeles and has stops in San Diego through the Grand Canyon, over hoover Dam into Las Vegas and finishing up just in time for SEMA.
